Practice
Jimmy became an associate at Paine Edmonds in May 2020. Jimmy is an author of the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) British Columbia Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Practice Manual and has been a presenter for the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) on family law. He clerked at the Nova Scotia Supreme Court (Family Division) and worked as a researcher for the Access to Justice and Law Reform Institute of Nova Scotia.

Personal Notes
Jimmy was born in Tokyo, Japan and moved to North Vancouver when he was 4 years old. He coaches basketball and soccer with Special Olympics. Jimmy coached the gold medal winning BC basketball team at the 2014 National Games and represented Canada as a basketball coach at the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles. Jimmy was a 3-time national chess champion in his age-group in elementary school. He enjoys going to breweries, playing tennis, following the University of Arizona Wildcats, and taking his dog, a puggle, to work.
